The Certificate in Hispanic Ministries provides theological, Biblical, and ministerial training to individuals in Hispanic and bilingual (Spanish/English) congregations. The program is co-sponsored by the Central Pastoral Office for Hispanic Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Lexington Theological Seminary. Courses in this program will examine the 16 competencies required by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). To accommodate busy schedules, students will attend synchronous courses online (via Zoom) for two years. Courses will be offered in Spanish. Upon successful completion of all 12 courses in the 16 competencies, students will earn a Certificate in Hispanic Ministries with a diploma and medallion.

El Certificado en Ministerios Hispanos provee entrenamiento teológico, bíblico, y ministerial a mujeres y hombres para el liderazgo en congregaciones hispanas y bilingües. El programa es co-auspiciado por la Oficina Pastoral Central para Ministerios Hispanos de la Iglesia Cristiana (Discípulos de Cristo) y el Seminario Teológico de Lexington. Los cursos en este programa cubrirán 16 competencias requeridas por la Iglesia Cristiana (Discípulos de Cristo). Para poder acomodar las ocupadas agendas de los estudiantes, se ofrecerá cursos en línea sincronizados (a través de Zoom) durante el transcurso de dos años. Cada curso se ofrecerá en español. Al completar exitosamente los 12 cursos en las 16 competencias, se otorgará al estudiante el Certificado en Ministerios Hispanos.
¿Quiere continuar su formación académica después de completar el programa CHM? LTS ofrece una Maestría en Estudios Teológicos con concentración en Estudios Latinx. La finalización del programa CHM es una de las vías de Evaluación de Aprendizajes Previos para ingresar a la educación teológica de nivel superior en LTS.
