Rev. Dr. Jon Barnes has begun a two-year appointment as the Associate Dean/Coordinator of
Student Academic Services.The primary role of the Associate Dean/Coordinator of Student Academic Services is to provide support to the office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean in the areas of student services and, secondarily, to provide support in select areas of academic administration. The position reports to the Vice-President of Academic Affairs and Dean.
Dr. Barnes will have responsibility for select day-to-day administrative and operational matters related to enrollment, registration, and coordination of activities with the registrar, quarterly collaborative meetings with contingent faculty, troubleshooting general student concerns, monitoring website modifications, and development and coordination with CAAM, CHM, and contextual MTS faculty and programs. He will function as a liaison to other staff in the Office of the Dean and continue his work as the Director of the Pathways Program.
